put out there that we are working on a photo workshop to Cuba and have had
tremendous response. So we are working on it...... !!! Also Ecuador… Prices
are quoted in $$US - AND ARE A GREAT DEAL!! It includes tuition (but not art
supplies), lodging in lovely colonial style hotels, hearty breakfasts each
morning, all ground transport and some pretty interesting cultural
experiences. ** HELP WITH AIRFARE Obviously,
the bad economy is a huge drag - but the upside is there are some great deals
on airfare. I booked our July '09 air for a better price than I've ever
gotten in my 15 years !! You fly into Guatemala City (GUA) and we'll pick you
up at the airport, no matter when you arrive. The first date listed for the
workshop is your travel day. I got that great rate ($356 RT MSP-GUA) because I had just plugged our preferred travel dates into www.farecompare.com and voila,,next day I got an email saying price had dropped by $150 so I jumped on it. I also really like www.cheapair.com I
wonder if I can get these guys to pay me for advertising for them! David
Wells, one of our photo instructors likes www.Kayak.com - other places to try
are: www.Cheaptickets.com and Spirit Airlines , or sign up for www.tripadvisor.com or
www.airfarewatchdog.com and see what you can find. GOOD
LUCK AND HOPE TO SEE YOU SOON IN GUATEMALA !! |
