***DO NOT BOOK AIR TRAVEL TO GUA UNTIL WE'VE CONFIRMED YOUR WORKSHOP IS A GO!! Please enclose US$500 deposit with your registration. Checks should be made to: Art Workshops in Guatemala. Then mail to: Second payment of US$800 is due 60 days before your class begins. Balance is due 30 days before departure. If the class of your choice does not run, your deposit and any additional monies paid will be refunded in full. Although of course we'd rather you find another class you'd like to take. I'm sorry, but we do not take credit cards at this time. Payment options that do not require a fee: 1/ Popmoney … https://www.popmoney.com/ My bank, Thrivent Federal Credit Union, offers popmoney and I’ve been using it for years to pay all sorts of people. I access it from my bank’s website – there is a tab for move money and then external transfers. I simply need the email address or mobile phone number or bank account info of the person I want to pay. No charge to either party. 2/ Online bill pay … via your own bank’s website. Although online bill payment is geared toward recurring payments, like monthly utility bills, it also works for one-time payments. Your bank will outline how to send money through its online bill payment system; the process typically involves logging onto the bank website, filling out the amount of money you wish to send and the recipient’s information, and authorizing the payment to be mailed out or transferred electronically. Make sure your bank offers this service for free so you’re not charged any unexpected fees. (this information taken from https://www.gobankingrates.com/making-money/business/9-ways-transfer-money-friends-family/ 3/ Zelle – I know this is a new service some banks are using instead of pop money to transfer money -- however I don’t want to use it. My renters wanted to pay me via zelle and it turns out that – because my bank does NOT use that service - I would need to give zelle my bank account’s password … so I am going to pass on that service !! 4/ Some people have really wanted the convenience of using their credit card and the pay pal button I have on the website and have offered to add on that 3%. That works, too. Our listed price includes tuition (but not art supplies), lodging in lovely colonial style hotels, hearty breakfasts each morning, all ground transport (including airport pickup and delivery in GUA) and some pretty interesting field trips. They are quoted in $$US - AND ARE STILL A GREAT DEAL!!
